This post was supposed to be all about that wedding day... the duchess and Duke of Dublin uniting their hearts in front of family and friends. But life took a different, tumbling and painful turn. The greatest joy of marrying the love of my life was followed by the greatest sorrow of losing my FIRST love of my life, my sweet baby boy Tyson, who on July 26 passed away from cancer at 11 years old. It was late in the evening when he fell asleep in my arms and the world around me fell apart, leaving behind a dark, gaping, screaming hole that burrowed itself down deep in my chest... Grief. We all know that flora can speak, and if you did not know this - now you know!  Even one of my all-time favourite scary movie-makers M Night Shyamalamahaan has shown this in The Happening (love, love, love). Their language is far too complex for us Homo Sapiens to understand, but that has not stopped us from creating a language for them but for us to use ourselves. This is called  Floriography -  the art of communicating through different types of flowers. Giving flowers to someone on different occasions most of us has done at some point in our lives. To celebrate, to apologize... to say goodbye... But I had never thought about Floriography when I have purchased or picked my bouquets... I had only gone by their looks.
