Time to pimp my hive... and myself for that matter! And to me, pimp it up = shop till you drop!
But not when it comes to the money... those I´d rather keep in the bank or stuffed down my bra.
No, when it comes to shopping I´m actually a real miser so to keep a balance between the shop till you drop thing and starring in my own hip-hop videos where the major cash flow is happening, yin & yang is a vital key - balance!
After two shopping sprees á 15 hours (yes, there should be a warning label taking me out shopping) I can safely say that Dublin has a lot of places where you can go total bananas. But I´m gonna introduce you to two of my absolute favs:
IKEA!... the land of opportunities and home to one of the most popular pieces of wood there is - Billy!... Billy the bookshelf.

It's a bit of an irony that one of the first things I do in a new country is to be the most typical swede you can be. But if there's anything from my native country I truly love, it's this place, founded by Ingvar Kamprad from Elmtaryd, Agunnaryd.
"Don´t be a bother to anyone, just do it yourself! - as Swedish as it gets.
I've done the math and concluded that during my time here on earth I've moved 15 times and one time abroad, 13 of them have been self afflicted. 12 places that has been decorated and redecorated at least twice... per year. And now it´s time again.

I can easily say that I've earned a doctors degree in assembling and the arts of deciphering do-it-yourself brochures.
With my aluminium plated key, I've tackled Lack, overthrown Malm and from time to time, screwed the infamous Billy.
So, if you´re all fingers and thumbs or just don´t wanna risk a nasty break up or divorce - call my office! Sheila, my intern, will gladly set you up for an appointment.
Last but not least - an Irish girl! If I were to find out I was a lesbian, this one I´d marry on the spot.
Her name is Penney! (outside the republic she´s gone undercover as Primark).
We had our little rendezvous last year but she left me longing for more and this time I did her gooood!
To top it off, I´m not just blessed with one (hold on to your seats) but TWO freakishly large stores within walking distance (like H&M on Drottninggatan in Stockholm) -
O´Connell Street and Mary Street. I´ve looted them both... kind of... I handed some money to the clerk before I took the lot but it felt like I stole it - it´s that cheap!
So, after calming my shopping nerve a bit and yet again become a hoarder, I can now focus on the real stuff, the good stuff - exploring the town, the culture and the people - the Dubs!
I have some topics in mind already but I need to gather some more information.
Until next time - Caching!
